DDT and Alzheimer's

A recent study indicated a strong link between DDT and DDE, toxins used in pesticides and banned in the US in 1972, to late-onset Alzheimer's. An article in Scientific American also treats a series of other studies linking preservatives in food and air pollution to the world-wide increase in neurological diseases.
